TUSKER BULLET

Working in the apparel sector is usually directed to a busy lifestyle. The fuel crisis took place while I was working in a sewing plant in Embilpitiya. During the fuel crisis, we got a holiday in the middle of the week. After making a few calls, I found out that the Tusker Bullet has appeared for a few days near the elephant fence along Udawalawe-Thanamalwila Road. So, I and my roommate planned our holiday searching for the tusker. The next day, we started our 20 minutes drive to the known location. We arrived at the spot around 10 A.M. When we arrived there, the tusker was not there. Then we started our waiting game. After a few hours, I started along the elephant fence and spotted the tusker behind a bush. At first, tusker backed away after seeing me. After a few minutes, the tusker reappeared at the fence. For the next few hours, tusker roamed around the fence giving us quite a show. And I tried wide-angle lens for wildlife for the first time. After all, it was a day to remember.
